Around 1970 Bernd Birzer and Dietmar Zimpel developed 11 machines for east german racers. 1 cylinder 6speed engine with watercooling. Looked a litle bit like 125 ccm MZ RE. Standing cylinders. Good machines, Jochen Kupher was 3rd in the East german champiomchip 1974. By 1979 many Minimot drivers converted their engines to a horizontal cylinder layout, dry clutch, and water cooling. Like the Minimot replica made by André Kupher. 1973 Minimot driven by Horst Weidner.
