Harmsen






This 50cc special ws built by Dutchman Carel Harmsen in 1979.
The sandwich- framed bike had initially a Kreidler engine, but later
Harmsen built a special engine for it.

A replica was recently made by another Dutchman.
René Wesellius, a gifted craftsman and avid 50cc classic- racer
made this bike loosely based on the Harmsen. The engine itself
is a cut-and-paste Sachs, now sporting a horisontal cylinder.
